About Adrian Schools

Adrian Public Schools provides extensive academic and extracurricular activities to all students K-12. The caring and highly qualified staff at APS are dedicated to the success of every student. A district of nearly 3,200 students, APS consists of four elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and an alternative/adult education program. Thanks to the Adrian Community, APS recently completed nearly $50 million dollars in renovations. All buildings have newly renovated classrooms, music rooms, computer labs, and media centers. APS is dedicated to a fine arts curriculum K-12. A new 630-seat theater is used districtwide. Adrian High School is an International Baccalaureate World School offering both the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11-12) and Middle Years Programme (Grades 7-10). The IB Middle Years Programme starts in grade 7 at AMS 7-8 and continues into AHS through grade 10. The IB Diploma Programme is the premier university preparation program in the world. APS provides students with a focused program in academics, athletics, and the arts.
