Goals and Objectives
The district operates from a three-year strategic plan with the focus areas of Student Achievement, Communication and Sense of Belonging. Administrators meet each summer to review the goals and objectives and measure progress. Then each building meets regarding "local" progress toward goals.The plan was based on answering three questions: What do you want students to learn? How do you know they have learned it? What do we do if they don't know it? Overall goals are to increase student achievement, graduation rates and attendance and to increase informative and interpersonal communication. The 2009-10 school year is the second year of the current plan.
