Dear Parents,  

            Adrian Middle School 7-8 is the county leader in education.  We offer programs that meet the unique needs of each and every student; from state of the art computer labs, to web-based instruction, and to our newest program in alternative education, AMPS, Adrian Middle School 7-8 is the school of choice in Lenawee County.

            Adrian Middle School 7-8 offers a variety of educational opportunities beginning with English, science, social studies and math, which includes courses in pre-algebra, algebra and geometry.  Our exceptional curriculum fully prepares students to enter the International Baccalaureate program at Adrian High School while others will be ready for the Michigan Merit Curriculum or career education.

            Elective courses in art, physical education, health, careers and computers complement the core curriculum.  Music courses in band, choir, orchestra and performing arts further enhance the exceptional curriculum at Adrian Middle School 7-8.  Students perform annually in state festivals and solo and ensemble competitions.  Seussical is the title of the middle school musical this year, and previous musicals include The Jungle Book, Annie Jr., Willie Wonka, Chronicles of Narnia, The Wizard of Oz, and The Pirates of Penzance.   Our district performing art center serves as the venue for our musical and concert performances.

            Adrian Middle School 7-8 offers an outstanding selection of extra-curricular activities.  Interscholastic sports for girls and boys include cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, swimming, wrestling and track.  After school academic enrichment courses include Science Olympiad, quiz bowl and equations, which challenges students to think critically and creatively while solving complex problems.
