The school is located near Adrian College in the center of an established family neighborhood in the southwest section of the city.
Lincoln prides itself on parent and community enthusiasm and participation. Extensive work with two local colleges, Adrian College and Siena Heights University, provides direct contact with student teachers, interns and tutors who give students a one-on-one partnership that is a very successful environment for learning. |

- Professional Development continues to be an integral part of the school improvement plan at Lincoln. Reading Recovery Program, Literacy Support, Writing Assessment and Accelerated Reader, are just a few of the programs that provide educators with on-going support and development to become more knowledgeable leaders in the school.
- Lincoln's PTO includes a very active group of both parents and staff. PTO sponsors such events as Fun Night, an Art Fair, assemblies,Accelerated Reader incentives, mini-grants to teachers and classroom field trips.
- KIDS Radio Station 107.9 is part of the school's Language Arts curriculum. Students in grades 3 and 4 are the primary live announcers on the daily broadcast. Students in grades K-2 participate on a rotating basis.
- A partnership with WTOL Channel 11 in Toledo, shares AWS WeatherNet equipment positioned on the roof of the school. It provides current weather information for KIDS Radio and to each classroom through computer connections. WTOL periodically broadcasts weather from Lincoln's site. The school weather station data can be accessed on the web at: www.weatherbug.com.
Lincoln Points of Pride

Lincoln Lion Pride Patrol consists of 4th grade volunteers who act as safety patrollers, announcers and cafeteria assistants.

We have a very active community of approximately300 volunteers amassing more than 5,000 hours of service annually.

Accelerated Reader: A nationally recognized program that promotes reading for students of all abilities.

Continual assessment of students' reading progress through the Standardized Test for the Assessment of Reading (STAR) Program.
