Mission Statement
The mission of Adrian Public Schools is to provide, in partnership with parents and our community, quality educational opportunities that challenge students to excel academically and socially to become contributing citizens.
About Adrian Schools
Adrian Public Schools provides extensive academic and extracurricular activities to all students K-12. The caring and highly qualified staff at APS are dedicated to the success of every student. A district of nearly 3,600 students, APS consists of four elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and an alternative/adult education program. Thanks to the Adrian Community, APS recently completed nearly $50 million dollars in renovations. All buildings have newly renovated classrooms, music rooms, computer labs, and media centers. APS is dedicated to a fine arts curriculum K-12. A new 630-seat theater is used districtwide. Adrian High School is an approved school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to begin in the 2010-2011 school year. The IB Diploma Programme is the premier university preparation program in the world. APS provides students with a focused program in academics, athletics, and the arts.
