Adrian Board of Education Meeting Dates

Generally: 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Adrian High School Cafeteria 785 Riverside Ave. Throughout the school year, the board meets in each building on a rotating basis. Meeting locations will be announced on this site, in the Daily Telegram and on WLEN radio.

Upcoming Meetings - September 7, 2010 and September 20, 2010. All meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Adrian High School Library/Media Center. Please check the district calendar for the remainder of the 10-11 scheduled meetings.

2009-2010 Superintendent Goals

I. Objective and Quantifiable Measures

A. Student Achievement (Standardized tests, other)

1. MEAP/MME/SAT/ACT/Other - APS scores measured against County, State, & prior year’s scores and AYP targets.

2. Graduation / Dropout Rate – APS scores measured against County, State, & prior 5-year average APS graduation rate.

B. Financial (Budget Management, Annual Audit)

1. Add $301,000 into fund equity during the 2009/2010 school year, less any adjustments to the following assumptions: A loss of 91 students and $0 increase/decrease in per-pupil funding.

2. In the event of any catastrophic, uncontrollable changes to funding, keep the district solvent.

3. Annual Audit – Will be measured on quality of Audit results: Unqualified, Opinion, and Material Findings.

4. Maintain no more than .5% deviation, positive from the total costs of the district approved by the Board in June 2008 for the 2009/2010 school year.
