                All About Mrs. Henline   

Shopping, eating out, playing volleyball, working out, and spending time with my family are just a few activities I enjoy. I am originally from Stryker, OH but went to Adrian College years ago.  I am a Buckeye's fan but also I root for Michigan when they are not playing Ohio State.  My husband and I have been married for 11 years now and have three boys that take up most of my time when I am not teaching.  My oldest son is a second grader at Prairie Elementary this school year, Chase is going to be in the Kindergarten Readiness Preschool this year at Prairie, and our youngest just turned 1 over Labor Day weekend.  

I have 13 total years of teaching experience.  My first two years I taught in Battle Creek Public with my twin sister before moving back to Adrian.  I was lucky enough to get a job at Garfield Elementary teaching fifth grade where I did my student teaching.  After Garfield closed and Prairie was complete I moved over here with most of the staff then from Garfield and Michener.  This has been my home now during the school year and I love the families here at Prairie.  I have taught first grade now for 12 out of my 13 years and love the age group.  First graders love school.  It makes my job easy knowing that these little faces count on me everyday and they enjoy being at school. 

I am an Adrian College Bulldog, however, I also got my Masters from Siena Heights University in Reading K - 12 so I support both colleges. 

 We also have a Foster Grandma named Doris Hartman who will be working in our classroom daily throughout this school year.
