Welcome to another trimester at AHS!

I am often asked "What is economics?" and "What is sociology?".  In this site, you'll find a short summary of these two courses. I hope you find it helpful.  As our world is changing rapidly, due to developing technology, it is becoming increasingly important that students become financially and socially responsible in a global economy.  Both of these courses will contribute to that success. 

I have included a page with my classroom rules and grading procedures so that both you and your student will know how students can succeed in these classes.  I have also added parent guidelines for assisting students with homework and a link, Financial Success, which includes great tips for parents whose students are currently studying economics.  

Assignment lists, along with individual student grades and attendance records, will be available on the Home Access Center at the eschool web site, https://hac.lisd.us/homeaccess.

    1st hour-Economics (7:25-8:35)  

    2nd hour-Sociology(8:40-9:42 a.m.)  

    3rd hour-Economics (9:47-10:49 a.m.)
