Thank you for allowing your child to bring an iPod to use in school.  Students will be using them to enhance their learning in math and science classes.  We will only be using the few listed below as we try incorporating iPods into our learning.

Please download a tracking application, I have no preference but think this is just a protective measure, if you or your child misplaces the devise.

The following are applications that we will be using and should be downloaded before your child brings the ipod to class:

Google Earth

MATH

MathEdge X

Times Tables Warp

Our class will be using iPods in class for educational use; they will be used in science and math classes.  The students that bring in an iPod will be stowing it in their locked locker when we are not using them.  I will send a list of free applications that we will take advantage of during class time.  We will not be downloading any applications at school, this should be done at home by the parents, a list of applications will be sent home in a few days.
